I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt of
your letter No 30037/12, transmitting a copy of a dispatch
from the Governor of Hongkong forwarding the draft of an
Agreement with my Company for the erection and maintenance

of telegraphic connections along the Kowloon-Canton Railway.
In reply, I have to inform you that my Directors
agree to the terms of the draft, and will be prepared to
sign and seal the Agreement in due course.
